About the Enterprise Protection Association

The Enterprise Protection Association (EPA) of Finland is a registered non-profit association whose roots trace back to the year 1963. It acts as an independent professional body to provide its member companies a networking platform in enterprise protection, enhance the members’ knowledge and competence in security matters and facilitate related collaboration between them as well as with other involved players and authorities. EPA is also an active contributor in the field, including opinion formation on industry issues.

EPA is the administrator of the nationwide KTL1E key management system, the contemporary system for managing access to telecom/IDF rooms in Finnish buildings and properties.

EPA is based in Helsinki, and its operations encompass all of Finland. EPA’s Board consists of no more than ten members. The Board meets at regular intervals, about six times a year.
